To move from Notta to Otter: once Otter's Meeting Agent is auto-joining, summaries appear automatically on the conversation page and are emailed to the host and calendar guests; no separate configuration is needed. To move from Otter to Notta: Notta's AI Summary Generator triggers after transcription ends; configure the output format using Notta's custom AI templates (up to 50 templates on Pro/Business). If teams rely on Notta's infographic-style summary visuals for Slack, recreate equivalent Slack sharing via Otter's Slack integration (which shares a summary link rather than an embedded visual).

Notta has a dedicated file-upload path: drag audio or video files (up to 1 GB) or paste a YouTube/online video URL into the Notta web dashboard or mobile app to get a timestamped transcript. Otter also accepts uploaded audio/video files via its web interface — upload produces a stored conversation with speaker labels and a searchable transcript, the same as a live meeting recording. To move an existing library from Notta to Otter: export Notta transcripts (TXT/DOCX) for archival, then re-upload original audio/video files to Otter if you need Otter-native transcripts. To move from Otter to Notta: download audio via Otter's MP3 export, then upload to Notta for re-transcription. URL-based import (YouTube links) is Notta-only; Otter requires a local file upload.

To move from Notta to Otter: disconnect the Notta calendar connection, then connect Otter to the same Google or Outlook calendar — the Otter Meeting Agent will auto-join future meetings in place of Notta. Reconnect CRM sync: Otter's Salesforce and HubSpot integrations are available from Pro up; map equivalent Notta CRM fields to Otter's logging settings. Re-establish Slack notifications in Otter's integrations settings. Audit any Zapier zaps pointing at Notta webhooks and update them to Otter's Zapier triggers. To move from Notta to Otter: connect Otter to the same Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar so its Meeting Agent replaces Notta's bot on future meetings; download existing Notta transcripts (TXT or DOCX) before cancelling to preserve history. To move from Otter to Notta: install the Notta Chrome Extension or connect Notta to the same calendar; note that Notta also supports a Chrome Extension path for Google Meet that Otter does not offer. To move a primarily English-language or Spanish/French/Japanese workflow from Notta to Otter: no special configuration is needed — select the meeting language in Otter's settings. For meetings in other languages, consider retaining Notta or a dedicated translation layer. To move from Otter to Notta: enable Notta's language detection or set a fixed transcription language per recording in the Notta dashboard.

Set up Otter's share-link permissions (view or comment) to replicate Notta's public-link sharing. To move from Otter to Notta: export from Otter as TXT (all plans) or DOCX/PDF/SRT (Business+), then import raw audio files into Notta if you want re-transcription with Notta's speaker labeling.
